Dear newspaper-industry new media colleague:

I am working as a consultant to a major publisher to design a newspaper new
media/interactive services trade publication. This will be a publication you
will want to read because it will be targeted at you as a newspaper new media
professional or news executive responsible for approving new media projects at
your company. We need your help in designing a product that will be useful to
YOU. (Sorry, but at this point I can't reveal the publisher's identity.)

I would appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to fill out this
questionnaire to help us figure out your needs. It will take only a few minutes
to complete these questions, and there is space for you to include suggestions
for areas of coverage, specific story ideas, etc.

***IMPORTANT***: Please reply to me PRIVATELY with your answers. If you're
receiving this via the online-newspapers list, when you hit Reply,
online-newspapers will automatically be in the To: field. Please change it so
that you reply only to Steve Outing at outings@netcom.com

Thank you!
Steve
