Although this isn't directly Web-releated, it is more anecdotal evidence
about the use of commercial online services.

We recently started a dedicated, private Internet list for the NPPA Job
Bank. We have about 151 members signed up and 64 are from AOL domains. The
next highest domain is represented by three members, none from Prodigy.
Most are from various ISPs and educational institutions.

The vast majority of our members access the Job Bank via CompuServe with
approximately 1,000 signed up there. But that is because the Job Bank had
not been accessible via the 'net until about a month ago. We'll know more
in about a year how many of them stay with that service. By then we may
also have access to secure-server technology and be able to offer the Job
Bank from our Web page.
