Fellow list subscribers:

As you know, college newspapers often are the first to take advantage of
new technology. Many late nights and skipped classes by Webmasters and
online editors have given birth to some of the best sites on the Web.
From play-by-play updates to monthly publications, college students have
created better Web sites than their professional counterparts.

To celebrate the hard work and dedication of college journalists in a new
medium, the College Press Network will recognize the best online
publications on the Web.

For information on the competition and how the sites will be rated,
please visit the College Press Network site at http://www.cpnet.com

An announcement of the "Best of College Press Network" will be made Nov.
23, 1996, during the Associated Collegiate Press Conference (Walt Disney
Hilton, Orlando, Fla)
