Does it work?

It sweats, heaves and struggles. Plowing through MBs of code, loading
segment registers left and right, forwarding interfaces through miles
of emulation.  Humiliating Pentia to the level of a 486.  Beating hard
disks into submission, pushing bytes one at a time through io
bottlenecks, pausing in its labors only to see if it's time to
multitask.

Does it work? I tell you, no system ever worked harder!
