Let's assume your kid IS "wonder-hacker". A 10 year old boy doesn't even
want to be around girls. He isn't terribly interested in sex, except
that it will shock his/her parent(s). By the time he is 12 or 13 years
old and the hormones are raging, he will have questions. He could get
his answers from his parents ("more than you ever wanted to know about
sex, except how to 'score'") or he could learn from other boys in the
locker room. At least with the internet, there are people who are
willing to ask questons, answer questions, and hold each other to account.

I was extremely lucky. My parents gave me the "more than..." approach.
I heard about my mother's date-rape, I learned how to stay celebate even
when I was alone in a room with an amorous partner. I learned not to
engage in foreplay unless I was willing to consider spending the rest of
my life with her (or paying child-support to her). I learned what NOT to
learn. For example, I learned that if I got good at "Pick-ups", that I
would be more likely to cheat on my wife - the best approach to meeting
women was to go on blind dates.

Not only that, but if they are using a web browser, you can look at their
log and see what they have been doing. It's even better when you go
exploring with them.
