Do you have an FTP address (obviously not, uu.halonet is uucp only?)

Personally I prefer Eudora and Trumpet on a Windows platform,
or DIP and Andrew on a Linux Platform. The TCP/IP slip driver
hangs up the link when I'm not using it, lets me download
selected nntp and mail articles, and compose off-line.
(unfortunately, I'm currently on an Ultrix machine which doesn't
have Andrew, so I use PINE. I still have to get smtp to go
past the fire-wall.

Yes, it was great software, 2 years ago when everyone was paying
$6.00/hour or could only get the PSI mail/news service. With
about 20 vendors charging $15-20/month with virtually unlimited
time, I'm less worried about hogging the dial-up.
