SURPISE, IRC has been around since 1992. The "Mbone" or Multicast
routers has been around since 1993. IRC "radio" has been around since 1994.
Real-time conference calling was eventually ported to Windows in late
1994. I keep pointing out the delights of the Andrew Tool-kit, and no one
seems to be listening (well one or two). Would you like to know about
Virtual Reality Modeling? How about interactive conferenc editing and
video-conferencing via muliple monitors (available since 1991). Those
"college kids" were almost a decade ahead of the times. We're just
waiting form Microsoft to "Invent it". Wanna bet none of the original
developers gets a dime!

Hotjava is just a "web-interfaced ultra-user-friendly" version of some of
the other multimedia capabilities of Andrew/EZ. A bit more "secure" perhaps.
