Actually, yes. Remember, at $60/CD or $20/upgrade, each sale counts, and
is relatively easy to get. I've been to several computer fairs now and
made it to the Linux vendors to discover that they have sold over 200
copies each. The most popular seem to be Plug'n'Play and SlackWare.

I ordered flagship, but haven't installed it yet.

Actually, it makes lots of sense. What unix/tcp/ip needs is good
management and security. Noorda and Gates are going to end up in a toe
to toe slug-fest over this (chamera vs. MSN). And Noorda isn't going to
take the chance that Gates will "Pull the Plug".

WordPerfect, Lotus, Computer Assiciates and several other applications
vendors who were displaced by the "Office Bundle", where Gates has
demanded that New Computers be shipped with Windows and Office or Works
and other Microsoft applications, or no discount and delays getting Win95.

Wait until would-be publishers get the bill for the Microsoft/Netscape
solution:

	WindowsNT unlimited user license $25,000
	WindowsNT Server uul $25,000
	WindowsNT SQL Server uul $25,000
	Microsoft Excange uul $25,000
	Netscape Server $25,000

Times 2 servers if you want fault tolerance.
Plus royalties (5 cents/page to Microsoft for Exchange approval).

All based on perceived value pricing (What Gates thinks it's worth).
